PAIREF webinar

We are pleased to announce the webinar on paired refinement in macromolecular crystallography to be held on March 23, 2021, from 3 PM (CET) to 4 PM (CET). This protocol provides an accurate estimation of the high-resolution cutoff to the diffraction data.
The “PAIREF webinar” will be a free virtual event for up to 300 participants. The meeting will be recorded. Participants are assumed to have installed CCP4 or PHENIX software.

1st Student Conference in Structural Biology 2-3 June 2021

Registration to the 1st Student Conference in Structural Biology will open on 10 March 2021 around noon. The number of talk slots is limited and the programme will be filled depending on the order of registration. More details can be found on the conference page.

General assembly of CSSB on 3 June 2021

The General assembly of the Czech Society for Structural Biology will be held online on the 3rd of June 2021, around 16:30, at the end of the 1st Student Conference in Structural Biology. Agenda and instructions regarding registration and participation will be provided later.

The CSSB invites the Czech structural biology community (and beyond) to regular online seminars ‘SB Club‘ on the last Wednesdays of month. The focus will be on current topics of structural biology and closely related areas of research.

Mark in your diaries!

Following the cancellation of the annual conference (XVIII Discussions), the CSSB Council announces the 1st Student Conference in Structural Biology with competition to be held online on 2-3 June 2021. The expected format will be short talks (10 minutes) with abstract published online. The presenting participants will be university students (any level, including PhD students defending their theses in 2021). The best presentations will be rewarded with support of the Council of Scientific Societies (RVS). More details will follow soon.
